ICAI(The Institute of Cost Accountants of India) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament ,i.e. The Cost and Works Accountants Act,1959(23rd of 1959) .
Over the years it has emerged as a leading professional Institute in India and second largest management accounting body in the world with focus on knowledge, training and research in the field of Management Accounting and Financial & Cost Management. The Institute has over 50,000 Members in Service & Practice and over 1,75,000 Students.
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India Syllabus, research, publication, training, MDP are renowned for exhaustive breadth and depth of knowledge. The Institute is recognized by the Govt.of India as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organization(SIRO). The Institute journal “The Management Accountant” and its various research & professional publications play a predominant role in elevating the standard of profession.
